A parallel objective of ITRES’s Training for Operations program is to empower the customer’s designated professionals by transferring essential training skills through a dedicated Training for Trainers initiative. This program ensures that the customer’s personnel can not only participate in but eventually take over the responsibility of training within their own organization, creating a sustainable and self-sufficient training ecosystem.
The Training for Trainers program is designed to involve the customer’s selected personnel throughout the entire training process, immersing them in the methodologies and tools that ITRES employs. By doing so, ITRES ensures a smooth knowledge transfer, enabling these professionals to independently manage and conduct future training sessions with the same level of effectiveness.
The Training for Trainers Courses will include the following key components:
Basic Training Skills (Method of Instruction - MOI): This module will focus on the fundamental skills needed to deliver effective training, including classroom instruction techniques, communication strategies, and engagement methods. Trainers will learn how to present complex material in a clear and structured manner, ensuring that trainees can absorb and apply the information effectively.
Management of Training Scenarios (Instructor Operating Stations - IOS): This component will cover the operation and management of Instructor Operating Stations (IOS), enabling trainers to control and manipulate training scenarios during simulations. Trainers will learn how to set up and run various scenarios, adjust parameters in real-time, and monitor the trainees’ performance throughout the exercises.
Assessment of Students’ Performance (Grading Methodology): ITRES will provide a detailed framework for assessing the performance of trainees, ensuring that trainers can evaluate students consistently and fairly. This includes learning how to use objective grading methodologies that measure both individual and team performance, as well as providing constructive feedback to foster improvement.
Standardization and Operational Evaluation Methods (OPEVAL): Trainers will be instructed in Standardization practices to ensure that all training methods and evaluations adhere to established military or organizational standards. They will also learn Operational Evaluation (OPEVAL) techniques, which are used to assess the operational readiness of trainees and ensure that they meet the required benchmarks for mission success.
Set-Up and Management of Combined Operations (Land, Air, and Naval Players): This advanced module will focus on the coordination and management of Combined Operations, involving land, air, and naval elements. Trainers will learn how to create complex, multi-domain training exercises that reflect real-world joint operations, ensuring that personnel are prepared for the challenges of inter-service and inter-domain collaboration.
Through these comprehensive courses, ITRES ensures that the customer’s trainers are fully equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to manage and execute effective training programs. This Training for Trainers initiative not only builds internal capability but also ensures that the customer can maintain high levels of training readiness and operational competence in the long term, without continuous external support. By investing in the development of their own trainers, the customer can sustain and evolve their training programs to meet future operational needs.
